We are in the process of putting together a quote for an equestrian center located in northwest NJ. The quote is both inside and outside soft washing. The metal exterior I'm not worried about. The interior work is for the stalls only, which is tongue and groove pine boards and rubber mats. The customer will relocate the horses, remove all horse chit and hay. Plenty of water available on site and easy access to each stall. The mats sit on top of river stone to assist with drainage.
Anyone ever do this type of work before? If so are there any precautions I should take. All things considered it's in pretty good shape.

I did a small one last year. Just pre-wet the walls and mats and 1% mix. Went light on the soaps and rinsed hard. He didn't remove the poop so it was a "pool" when we were done. I warned him but he let the horses enter later anyhow with no issues. It's like they knew not to trod into the water. I also think the dilution was so much the horses that did enter had no reaction to the SH or the soap.
We cleaned the rubber dust shields and feed bins as well. All came out great but I think I would do more research if I did another one. The only reason was because the owner had his own mindset of "ahh....just let'em back in". Though they had no reaction I just felt as if my liability was too high.
I don't think my reply has helped but I already typed it so....
