Revolutionizing the Softwash world- I don't want to give too much information away without the blessings of the manufacturer and the inventor, but I understand there is a new product that's going to be unveiled and Charleston  that will change the way we Softwash.

all I'm at liberty to say is....imagine never having to make a mix again!

Mike, I have seen it in action, one of my mentors has been using this very system in the field for over a year now. I was actually one of the forces behind getting him to go out to mass production with it!

Chiris- I don't know the final cost, but if you waste 2 hours per day like we do making mixes, its a HUGE time/labor saver.

i started making a proportioner awhile back but then got so busy.. Not sure why anyone else hasn't made it yet.. I know a few other guys have made some but didn't have success with exact ratios. Will be nice to have one that works

It would be nice to lose the mix tank... Mixing on the fly, adding as much or as little soap or different soaps for different surfaces on the fly would be cool too. If the price is right and the quality is high this could be a good thing. If it comes made in some way that I can just add it to my existing system that would be even better.

Art, it would be real hard to copy, as its pattented. This is also a system that my friend Tim has been using in the field for three years now. It's Proven and tested, I don't see it getting improved upon. It took me for a year of begging him to bring this thing to market, so that other washers could take advantage of it. I also have the up most respect for Paul Kassander, and thought he would be the perfect match to bring Tim's invention to market.

This is going to blow everyone's mind!!!!

patents are only viable if someone is going to remanufacture a product, for an induvigual to copy for personal use it won't stand or be an issue. still big props to anyone with an ingeniuos product idea that makes the job easier, faster, more profitable!

Ray its all starting, One guy did something like this years ago and didn't like it and another vender is asking questions and wants to see it. Like everything else in our industry . They will copy it some how some way.

Art, this proportioner was very well received at the convention turning many heads and raising many eyebrows. I spoke with many people in the industry that had the same issues I did with the typical way we make batches. Eliminating "mix time" has completely changed my cleaning process. I hope that by bringing this proportioner to market we can give everyone the opportunity to clean more efficiently. I built my first permanent proportioner for my rig in May of 2012, the next month I took my 200gal mix tank off of my truck and never looked back. I'm sure it will be copied like you said "somehow, some way". What a compliment it would be...I'm a pretty simple man with a idea I'm sure many have had and for whatever reason never followed it through. I truly hope that this helps our industry and the many great people in it. If the proportioner makes it in our industry or not, I can only hope that someone is inspired to follow through with their ideas and dreams as I did. If you are interested in the proportioner please contact Paul at the powerwashstore.

the problem I had when I built one, was that there is no way to pre set them to make it standard for selling... Some people have 5' hoses some have 8' hoses for the intake.. Some people had 80 gallon mix tanks some had 150 gallon..

Doug, it was great meeting you as well. You were one of the few familiar faces I recalled from years back. I have a few still shots of it I will post. Paul is finishing up the indication stickers and logo stickers as we speak. He actually sold every one he brought without the finishing touches.image.jpg

I saw it at the convention and found it very interesting. Spent probably 20 minutes talking with Tim. It makes sense the way it is set up and should work. Tim says he's been using it since 2012 and I have no reason not to believe him.

There will be a learning curve setting the dials to get the proper mix. It will be marked on the dial but I think that will get you close to a particular mix...you'll have to work with it to zero it in to your liking. But once you figure out what is proper for you, all you need to do is make a mark or some other kind of indicator so you can go back to it the next day. After a while you'll find where your 1%, 2%, 3% ect setting will be and just mark it.

I like the idea of not having to dilute or add SH to the mix when you go from your roof mix to a house mix. All you need to do is adjust the dial for more or less SH.

I really like the idea and can see it on the truck soon.

Very cool look.

Jeff, In looking at the valves they have metering marks on them so all you'll need ts to figure out where your settings are based on your pump.

This is the first one made. It doesn't have our logos or indication stickers on it yet. I looks pretty bare, but it is solid and built like a tank! Left or right valves are for bleach or water. The center is for your soap.image.jpg
