Power Washing and Roof Cleaning Forum

first off, in full disclosure, you all know at this point I'm more of a "pointing manager", by which I mean I drive out to jobs and point at things for my crew to do....that is, if I even go out to jobs at all.My job is to be rainmaker,....I get the jobs, I schedule the jobs , I make sure that my employees are busy.... And I fix crap when it breaks.

guys have been out on a football stadium job for the last three days. It's been miserable here in Florida. Every day heat indexes of 105+.  We have an emergency call come in late afternoon, and I did not feel right about asking the guys to come and to handle it, since they been sweating all day in the sunshine cleaning the stadium. night crew was already booked with other tasks.

anyway, it left me to go handle this problem Alone. One of our largest customers had a car catch on fire at their property this afternoon. My Dragon from the power wash store performed very admirably. It's awesome to have everything I needed for this job on a 6 foot bed truck. Udor system, 12 V system, and hot water pressure washer. Job took me alone three hours to wash the canopy and concrete, and rise all the soot away from building . Since it was an emergency, I charged 250 per hour. Started 830 wrapped up by 1130.
