5850 Pump Question

The pressure switch went out on a old back up pump that I have. I switched it out from another pump that I had laying around. The problem I'm having now is I have to much pressure. Can I ajust the pressure of should I take the switch off and check out the inside

I use to use Fatboys and I always adjusted the pressure up from the factory setting. If the 5850 has an allen set screw turn it in for more pressure and out for less. You can see the hole for the screw in the picture.

I think I'm going to take the head apart and look inside. I took one apart last week and it was full of some kind of white powder. I will get some pics

It was inside the pressure head. They can be opened up. Theres a spring in there and a lever . The spring and lever was full of salt. I haven't a clue as to why. I'm going to open the other one that I put on the pump and see what it looks like. I think it may be salt stuck.

Pump went down again. I removed the pressure head and found this white powder in the head again. Its not from S/H this is from my SURFACTANT pump. I only use this pump for soap.

The metal in the head was discontinued 3 years ago. They use plastic now.
