I just got off the phone with Delavan the Pump Manufacture.  The Rep told me the pump I have was discontinued 3 years ago. They don't use the metal in the head anymore and haven't for 3 years. They use plastic in the head these days. He said we can buy our pumps direct from Delavan and get a 2 year warranty from them. Here's the link, http://www.delavanagpumps.com/ you may have to contact them and they will tell you how to buy and return for a warranty. Who knows if the new style pump is any better then the old.

Wow, two years is really good. Can't see myself ever buying a new pump. Did you tell them you were pumping SH through it? That may alter their return policy.
