Glad I could help David! You can go all day and then some with two batteries and they tend to last longer in parallel.

I have never seen a battery charger that is waterproof though they just might make one. We have been using a trickle charger for over two years now without incident charging two batteries in parallel. I start off with fully charged batteries and have never had any issue bringing them back over night. There is a post somewhere here discussing chargers and parallel batteries.

I'm sure Bryan will chime in about that charger.

I got mine from AutoZone but they don't show it any longer. I found this one at Walmart. Even Home Depot has trickle chargers.

I was asking cause it looks like if could bolt up on the side of the trailor. And I was thinking if it was raining proof I could just plug the trailor in at night instead of lugging that heavy battery in and out of the garage

Get a plastic ammo box and put the charger in there. Drill holes for the wires and seal them up. If you want the holes smaller, cut the wires and use heat shrink butt connectors to put them together. Problem solved.

Yeah it's waterproof. I just have it in the truck by the skid and plug it in when I park at night. Works great.

It was the best deal I found. I've been pleased with it. My pressure washer also charges the battery when it's running so I'm double covered.
