I don't know Doug. I was told red was easier to handle than yellow. I didn't see a difference on their site. I currently have over 200' of poly and I hate it.

There is a difference I believe but forgot the specs. Went to the site but not sure which line of product people use for mix.

I've been using the same yellow 1/2" Kuri tek hose for a few years now. Never had a problem with it. I searched around and most of the distributors sell the yellow. Guess I will stick to the yellow!

I like the yellow doesn't leave marks like the blue does but they all are easier to handle

Yeah I hate blue pressure washer hose, as the pump pulses the hose vibrates and marks up brickwork, never had a problem with standard black Goodyear hose

I know the hose on question is not a high pressure hose, but if some of the colored chemical hoses mark like colored hydraulic I'd want the least marking. As for black hoses also marking I believe it's the quality of the manufacturers rubber composition that makes the difference, good quality hose won't mark or blow fittings as easily.

Kuriyama hoses seem like highest quality

We have been using the KuriTec Tec Yellow 1/2" hose for two years now with no complaints whatsoever. Prior to that I was using 1/2" poly braid but it only lasted five years(Lol). It sucked in very cold weather.

I've been using the same Kuri tec yellow Ag hose for my roof cleaning setup for the past 4+ years. it's been unstoppable. My first roof cleaning hose was poly-braid and it lasted maybe 2 months. It was honestly terrible.
