I been in the roofing handyman business for 30 years. Live in Upstate New York with my wife of 27 years (I been happily married  for 27 years, cant speak for my wife, ill have to ask her?)

I've been reading the forums for awhile now, and i have to say that there's a special group of guys here always willing to help. I know it's going to be great to learn from the best.

Why make costly mistakes when you can learn from somebody that's been there and done that, I know there's more then one way to do something right.

I'v been in business for 30 years always been paid by the customer and never had to go to court or sued for something related to our services.  

I also believe that honesty and straightforwardness is always the way to go and that most homeowners can see through a dishonest contractor and will give your business a bad reputation.

I have my word and it means a lot to me.

 

I have nothing else to Brag about, I press on toward the goal for the prize.

This forum is one of the best collection of professional roof cleaners I know. They shoot straight and will be very helpful

We have many of them to thank for shortening our learning curve and giving us the courage to go higher.

Hi

 

The division of the company is very plain,  Exterior Cleaning CNY

Im trying to get a handle on the different Chemicals and be able to use them properly. Im going to stay with Roof cleaning till i have a greater understanding of the different Surfaces and the chemicals to use on them. I do have a lot of customers that will let me practice on them.

So far:

Made postcards

Yards signs

Wife is working on: brochure, buss cards, 

Working on a website

Sent out postcards to 100 realtors.

Pin point advertising (that's what i call it)

Word of mouth

Phone book soon.

Adwords Express

Inform my customers of new service.

List of all homes bought in last month  from county clerk office (new home buyers always need something done.

Attach postcards to any new estimates from other work we do.

Just contacted BP (shingle manufacturer) see whats up with warranty work. (probably dead end)

 

Im just getting started
