That so true Eric! I am finally getting ours to work by going from water to soap using the high pressure ball valve while the gun is on. So far it seems to work but getting the guys to rinse the pick up through the injector is like pulling teeth!

For years I have been using a modified injector from Pressure Tek. Buy 5 at a time and they have worked very well. But for some reason I have began having issues. Not sure of the specific cause.
I have been using the injector bypass hose for a year. Recently I have had water back flow thru injector into mix tank and filling it while bypassing injector. I have one connected without bypass and it's not working well either.
I'm about to order something just trying to see if there was something better

Hey Andy,..the injector by-pass thing works great. I used one all last season and really liked it. I have now eliminated it and use the remote to turn the soap on and off. I did give up the full flow rinse you get with the by-pass,..but for me,..that benefit is way over shadowed by the convenience of the remote. I will never be without a remote now. I can still run SC full flow though without shutting down.

Anyhow,..I never had the water back flowing through the injector,..seems like the ball isn't seating against the o-ring properly? That's the only way I can see water back flowing through an injector. Have you checked the o-ring for damage,.or something stuck between the ball and the o-ring?

In what respect are these modified injectors better than the stock ones? I mean,..do they stick less,..or pull more soap or what?

Jeff

Jeff the part about modified over the other ones is simply I have used it for years on muptiple machines and it works with 300' of hose. Thank you for responding.

I have in the past realized when the injector back flows into tank it needs to be replaced. Once replaced it works for along time. Recently they have not lasted long at all. The reason I mentioned the bypass was to explain my set up and that it was back flowing in bypass. The bypass is not the issue.

It appears I have found a secret subject to ask about or there is little traffic this time of year. I did a search for the one that works but didn't find a distributor.

Im sure everyone here at least owns an injector and most use it on a regular basis. I could have ask on FB and received 20 answers. At least two would have been from trusted experienced contractors. I simply went ahead and did what I was trying to avoid. I ordered different injectors and will test them and find another good one to stock on the truck
