I used to get (2) years from Good Year Neptune hose,..and then I'd replace it just for the sake of it. Wasn't blown or anything,.and I just give the old away to friends who could use it. And keep some around for backup. Haven't had a blowout in years since starting this practice.  Last year I bought 200' continuous length of Blue Neptune,..well it blew out last week. I haven't changed anything that would account for this. I tried to order the Blue Neptune again and Bob at Pressure Tek said he was out but he'd send me the gray.

Anyhow,..through the course of conversation he said hose has been degraded to lesser quality than before and others are experiencing the same issue I did.  Don't get me wrong,..it makes me money,..and I didn't mind buying a new hose,..but it blew out and left in a bind,... So now it will be replaced every Spring.   I always have a spare 50' section with me for extra reach,..NOT for finishing a job,Ha,Ha,..And the 50 footer is about (4) years old.  

So now for me it is the Neptune hose,..the ST-2000 trigger gun,..(which I no longer use),..and GP High Draw injectors that I have seen serious decline in quality over the last few years.
