I had 3 customers wanting to know about the chemicals we use, environmental impact and plant safety.

My question is does anybody hand the customer an information sheet on SH or do you just explain it to them.

Do you have a info sheet you want to share? I think it would helpful for the whole group if we had a nice information sheet. always love feedback.

Ive never handed them a a MSDS but I do always explain what we use, why we use, and any possible ramifications from using it.

To the customer: "Do you want your damn roof cleaned or not?" "You called me,.I didn't call you" We follow the guidelines set by the industry,..does that suffice?

Ha,Ha,..I actually say these things,. but not in the context shown here.

EDIT: I should mention,.I don't get questioned very often!!

I am honest with what we use although I do not use the word bleach. For almost all of the commercial work, the EPA document has worked very well. I do not think it's too much for anyone to read. They have two choices, a clean house what our mix or a somewhat clean house that will be dirty again in 6 - 9 months after the guy with the big box store PW washes it.

I love that! Stress the dilution, use terms like "eco-friendly detergents," and NEVER use the word bleach.
