I am a lifetime member and have been using it. I posted it in another thread somewhere. It is the old StreetBidder platform. Josh Latimer is the owner. It works.

It is.....if you physically go do estimates and make it a point to do some at every place. If you do things with Google Earth and stuff it is not worth it. Also, if you do not have sales people and you get too busy yourself during the year, it might not pay off. You have to use it and set up all the templates and import all the contact info too. Without a decent CRM this really is not the tool for you.

I just set up to start using the Customer Factor about three weeks ago.....unfortunately I don't have the time to move all of our contacts over. Not sure what I'm going to do just yet.

If you can get your customer files converted to a csv file then you don't have much work to do there. You might have to check with CF to see if the format is right.

I started using it way back when it was send Jim. I tried it again when in Florida for the winter 2015/2016. Josh and Chris were great about helping setup templates etc.

The problem I ran into was once I sent the card they were not delivered to the potential customer. I had a number of test addresses, sent to, but they didn't receive them.

That's not to say the system doesn't work. It didn't for me at that time. Now I am talking about them reaching the potential customer only.

All in all, I believe they have a great product. Just make sure to A/B test. Pick a few addresses, of people you know, and send one to them and confirm they receive.

I believe it could have been on the http://www.amazingmail.com/print-and-mail-products/direct-mail-postcards-and-postcard-marketing end because that is who they use for mailing. Unless they have changed since.

I don't direct market any longer and haven't for a few years. I used in Florida as it was a new market for us and was for cedar roofs only.

For those needing the branding/marketing they have improved and grown this program really well.

i use the customer factor now too, but send Jim is not a CRM. You just export your files from CF and they import them into send Jim. They also are setting up a chrome extension so the two systems talk to each other and you do not have to import export all of he time.

expensive is all relevant to what you do with it. If it cost 10,000 bucks a year but generates 100,000 that is worth it.

True.  Just saying it's not a product yet. Coming soon it says, so I'm not sure they've determined a price point yet.  Looks really neat and I bet it would work great.  Just tag the addresses on the arial map of the houses you want to target, then send them a postcard (or whatever).

The webinar is over and I hope I didn't just waste my money...LOL
Seriously, like John said above "expensive is all relevant to what you do with it". I know for a fact that I won't use this at all. I'm way too busy as it is....so why did I buy it???

Because I do plan to hire an office gal and sales reps. The cost will pay for itself in short order once I start using it. I like that it will keep "touching" my clients so I may not ever use it for new clients.

Now, if I could just get the Customer Factor online.......sheesh

Doug,

i only use it on occasion. I have my residential rep use it all the time and my new sales rep who just started will use it too. my office gal doesn't really use it, but I am training my lead techs to use it. If they are in a nice neighborhood, I am encouraging them to do a few of these.

Me I'm Cheap. I go to a Block and sink the numbers. Then go to Avery Label's and print the block on a sheet. Then I just write the numbers on the label. Fast and Cheap

Art, it's not that fast or cheap when you consider your time and the fact that you wont keep up with it. Let's face it, most of us don't want to do all that so we don't. This makes it as easy as clicking buttons and you're done.

I watched the webinar and am gonna do it. Since I'm 99% residential I think It's gonna work great. The postcards they send are $.69 each whether you send one or 100 and you can do custom designs. What they were offering on the webinar was a lifetime membership so I bit. The new tech (Radius Bomb) is gonna be cool.

The thing to remember is it will still cost you money to do anything. .70 per mailing is a bit stiff but if you reach out to your existing clients 4 times a year it's less than $3. 3000 clients would be $9000 but the return would probably be $90,000 if not more.

It just makes sense when you take out the emotion of spending the money.
