Im not able to build up decent water pressure. When trying to prime the water its as if it wouldn't prime. I took the cover off an the SH valve is leakin. Does that affect water pressure?

You can't have any leaks first off, but you need to prime each line individually. Close all valves except the one your priming, then close the primes line and prime the others.
If you have any leaks then you will have poor pressure.
