I agree Art,..use it for a hard season and then show the video. Sometimes you get lucky,..but these direct drive or gear units can really get stuck on the shaft,..I mean REALLY,..get stuck. The best thing to actually do is use a really REALLY,..hard shaft key,..that will keep everything aligned and make removal easier. They can still get stuck,..even when grease or anti-seize is used. Using nuts as spacers between flange and engine mounting bolts will allow for a sure way to drive the pump or gearbox off the shaft. You remove the bolts,..and simply run longer pieces of all thread or just long bolts,...and then simply begin turning the nuts one turn at a time and it will force the pump off,...no matter how tight it's on the shaft. Done it numerous times over the years. Just stagger the pattern when turning the nuts to keep the pressure even,....same idea as putting a wheel on a car.
