Here are the ball valves I've been using for applicators. The short extension in the last photo is actually schedule 80 PVC. PVC can be bent to a desired angle with a little heat from a blow torch. And can be with a basic 1/4" coupler. You just have to bevel the edges to get the threads started. The short extension in the first picture is also pvc, threaded right into the ball valve.
Next to last photo is the one I use for roofs,...3/8".
The little green cone nozzle on the spot sprayer is an end you can buy at TSC,..they screw into the 1/4" a little funny,..but I have no issue with them leaking.
On the 1/4" valves,..I add a little "T" and plug the side port,..I do this simply for a bit longer handle,..and I like the shape the "T" gives ,..feels good in the hand.
These things last a long time...and are cheap to make.
Very smooth operation and is EASILY operated with one hand.

Does anyone know why pictures will not show up larger than the thumbnails?
Some posts they show up large, some you click on them and they will appear large but a lot of them will not, like the ones Jeff just posted. They are only thumbnails so I cannot really see them that good.

For you guys that view the group on your phone, I have an older Galaxy S4 phone where I can get on the internet, do you put a shortcut on the phone screen or have some faster way than going to the internet and typing in the address bar to be here?

Those look good and easy to use. I guess you can just use your thumb.
I have been using this set up for eight years and the guns last a long time. We use the same gun for everything, 12v, booster and our portable for spraying chems for deck stripping.
Hey Brett,..I never had good luck with those triggers,..they always started weeping after only about a month. I took them apart and checked for debris in the seat and all,..but they just didn't last for me. I made sure I got the Viton model also. I used about (4) of them just in case I had a dud or two. I know many guys use them,..but even with thorough rinsing,..just didn't suit my needs. I got away from trigger wands altogether. Also,..I paint all of my pieces and parts,..black or silver,..the Krylon over the PVC and then clear holds up amazingly well.
*Wonder why they don't put Hastelloy springs in those things,..Teflon seat, Hastelloy spring and ceramic ball,..would make them better.
Yes,..just the thumb is needed to open and close, turns into very second nature. I only replaced one of them last season,..and that was due to the little screw that holds the little switch thingy on,..it rusted off and made the ball valve useless. But it was the one on my cart sprayer that sits outside all the time on the trailer. Th others are inside and never had an issue with them.

I had not seen those kind of pvc valves, seen the banjo brand, I think someone called them micro ball valves, wonder if they are the same and would work the same?
Now that I can see the pictures, some great ideas there guys, thanks.
This morning I cleared the cache, history and cookies, besides re-starting the computer and the pictures will not show.
I can click on the picture and the image viewer shows up but no picture there.
I click on the link, a new window opens up but no image there.
Not sure what is happening but I am hoping to get it figured out.
I can see pictures in all the facebook groups and other places, just not all the pictures here for some reason.
Thanks for the help.
Are you logging in here https://www.nationalsoftwashalliance.com or here http://nationalsoftwashalliance.activeboard.com
When the the upgrade was done you have to login using https://www.nationalsoftwashalliance.com or nothing works. Other than that... I have no clue.
Looks like you solved the problem Brett, thank you!
I was logging into the .activeboard.com but now I logged into the other site and can see the pictures again.
You are very smart sir, thank you.
Good try Chris! Smart? Well, I'm doing ok but we found this when they changed things and I couldn't see the pictures. Once I was told to login and nationalsoftwashalliance it was solved. I am just lucky and have a decent memory!
