How long before the moss is gone
Permalink

Hello everyone,

I am new to this business and wanted to get some input from some Pros.  As part of my roof treatment training, I am going to be treating my grandparents roof so I can see how long it takes for the roof to be moss free.  I will be using 12.5% SH to make the following recommended mix, thank you Hank.  50% SH + 50% water + 1/2 ounce dish soap.  I am curious what some of you have to say about this process and how long you would estimate it will take for the roof to be moss free.  I have a couple paying jobs coming up for customers who want to put their house on the market, and I have been estimating 3-4 weeks for the roof to be moss free after treatment.  Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.  Adding some pics of the grandparents heavily mossed roof!

Albert, here are some answers for you if found using the search bar.

As long as it's moss rinse off as much as you can with low pressure before you apply any mix. If they are in a hurry due to poor planning and cannot wait for the rain, add another charge to rinse off the moss, of course, from the top down. If you can't get it off the same day and feel like it would be better to come back, charge accordingly.
