Paver and Cement Cleaning
Permalink

This past season I started cleaning pavers and cement a different way. First I hit the pavers with roof mix and went off and washed the house. Then I came back and hit it with a turbo on a 4' stick. The angle of the stick and turbo made a big difference. The pressure went across the pavers rather then down like a surface cleaner. It helped keep the sand in the pavers and I moved along quicker then a surface cleaner. After I was done I downstreamed a coat of S/H. Best of all my pants stayed clean.

Hey Art good plan!! ,..Do you ever get asked to go back and re-sand? I don't do any re-sanding. I usually just kill the moss with 12.5% and walk away,...and they're sold that way.

I did only one this past season that the person wanted me to remove all the moss,..and said they would re-sand themselves. I did it,..but man what a mess,....sand is heavy!! Glad it was only about a 12'x12' I told them $200 but it went relatively fast so I only charged them $100. I also did the house and roof so was no big deal to be more "fair" to them!

Hi Jeff I do miles of pavers every year. I don't do sanding. I send the HO to the paver supply and tell them to get matching color 00 sand. Never a problem. I'm getting good at leaving the sand in the joints
