Mine went up 33% from the fall. I now pay $3.45 per gallon for three drums delivered. I started doing more estimates over the phone. I like going to most of my estimates because my closing rate goes way up. With gas prices so crazy I’m just trying to conserve somewhere.

The numbers are in!

2020 - $689.70  330 gallons

2021 - $732.60  330 gallons - Increase of $42.90

2022 - $933.99  330 gallons - Increase of $201.39 from last year and $244.29 from 2020.

Add to the increase of SH, labor and the cost of fuel, there is just no way we can keep going at our old prices. The $30.00 fuel and material charge is helping a lot! I'll figure that out tomorrow.

I've actually been experimenting with something that is to say the least surprising me? For me and my use of SH,..running the same DS forced injector "system" as last year,..(2.2 GPM pump forcing into the injector)...
I have begun making (2) barrels of 12.5% from one,...having two barrels of 6%. For house washing which is my predominant work it seems to be working way better than expected. Eve in the cooler weather it's still seems very effective,..albeit a little slower working obviously,.. but nothing that makes it bothersome....but it is just as effective as far as results go,...even on the tougher green algae. 


*I can also adjust the percentage with the turn of a valve,..but mixing it at 6% "forces" me to use the lighter percentage.

** This experiment has mostly told me that I've been wasting material for several years by using a way to high percentage for house washing. So this won't suit everyone, just sharing my experiences according to my SH use.

***Also, one other minor advantage here is it put's less "strain" on the components in the mini-prop unit,..12v pump, solenoid, injector and all the fittings.
