I'm about curious what product you like to use when you come across soot from furnace or propane vents that are venting out the side of a structure. I've run into this a few times with some house cleanings on vinyl siding. House mix cleans it up a little but not completely. I have F9 and one restore on the tr...

Ever since the EPA found just one more thing to regulate, I have HATED the new approved fuel containers. Since I was a child cutting grass, I have filled thousands of tanks on small engines without issue. I first found my hatred with these new approved containers when it seemed to take three hands to ope...

I went to look at a local cidery because their three year old standing seam roof looks real bad. The only thing the maintenance guy could tell me is they think it is coming from the CO2 exhaust. I called back today to see if he can find out what else is in the exhaust. As you can see in the picture with an arrow p...

I needed #12 O rings and wanted Viton. Finding them was a bit difficult. Most sites have either decimal or metric. First I went to this O ring sizing site to get the different types of sizing. Then I went to The O-Ring Store to order the O rings at a fair price.

We have a job to clean a synthetic slate roof. The tiles are made of rubber. I researched but could not find much on cleaning it. I found one post that stated using the standard SH roofing mix is the correct way to clean it without issues. Do you concur? Has anyone else had experience with synthetic slate?...

Hey guys, We use a Fatboy pump at 100 psi. When spraying, we usually have the valve wide open. However if we spray with the valve partially open to limit the amount of flow near the edge of the roof, the pump rapidly cycles on and off. We use the four banger nozzles. I believe someone some time ago mentioned...

Any one in the Emerald Isle/Swansboro area doing aluminum roofs?

Guys, We soft washed vinyl siding that is about 20 years old. The owner called us back because it had streaks. We came back the next day and re-rinsed it. I inspected it after it was pretty much dry and it looked very clean. However that evening the owner called again. This time the siding looks spotty / bl...

I am sure one of my trucks has an injector issue so I started searching since a complete injector replacement could be around 2K. I found this from Sea Foam and thought I would share it in case others could use this approach.

I’ve got a new guy, three weeks in, who I’m gonna have to let go if I can get him in closer to the house for rinsing. He’s standing 20 feet back and even though I’ve taken the the hose from him several times and showed him what I want him to do (protect plants!), he keeps hanging back and trying to spray from a di...

I've been noticing the last week or so that Google is shuffling the rankings. The top 4 or so isn't the top 4 anymore. A few of the strong sites are hanging on, but I have a feeling that may change. We will see.
