I thought my season was over because of the temps and because I haven't booked a job this whole month. Now I have 6 Roof cleanings and 2 house washes to try to get done. Why do people wait until the last minute I could have used this work in the beginning of the month.

There is always a slight spike right before Thanksgiving. We did pretty good this week, but temps will plunge over the weekend so make sure you winterize what you need.

If you get calls over the winter and you have the means to do it, double your price. There is no shame in doing this. Insurance requirements are picking up year over year and there's certainly no shortage of dirty roofs. I keep one un-winterized truck in the shop ready to go. If someone absolutely need their roof cleaned, we will get it done for a premium.

Isn't that funny Brian. Ed that is a good point, I had planned on just saving winter calls for Spring customers but I will keep that in my back pocket.

Yes Ray..snow plowin is next. And after last years never ending snow Im sick of pushing snow around

Doug, I wear them all year, even in the winter. I feel restricted in pants and I'm pretty much immune to the SH now. (as long as I don't get it my eyes). I think this picture was last January and it was in the upper 30's and the roof had frost on it when we showed up.

Ummm speaking of shorts...how many of you wear shorts and how do you keep the mix off your legs???

i have gotten ready a few times wearing shorts but always end up changing back into my pants as I just don't like the thought of all that SH on my skin

Here its jeans, plaid shirt, boots, 10 gallon hat, and stale left over keg from the weekend before. Oh and nachos
