Not cleaning industry relevant but thought it could be fun. All you do is type 1 word that has some possible relevance to the one on the post before it. For example if I type "fruit" you could type "Apple" Then someone could put "tree" so on and so on This can get really f...
Since apparently back links are now bad, what about posting "friends" videos or links to their web-sites in my blog section? Does that hurt or help me/them? Seems like a pretty easy way to generate content for a blog. Please chime in gurus!!!!!
Hope that everyone else is experiencing the end of season surge in leads and business like we are. It's gotten a bit hectic recently, but closing out the season very strong makes it all worth while. And with major expansion plans for 2015, there are some very exciting times ahead! Our phones are blo...
I had been using a company that would deliver my SH by tanker truck to my shop. But then the SH just appeared to become weaker and was not very effective. I never called and complained......instead I switched to Univar. The problem with Univar is they only have the 55 Gal drums. So I'm constantly running...
For those members who don't follow facebook Eric Seitz went to the hospital twice overnight with chest pains. Let's keep Eric and Lisa in our prayers. Hank -- Edited by waxman18324 on Sunday 15th of March 2015 05:55:04 AM
I got my mix ready last night for today. It is cold out this morning, I may soon have to make the mix in the morning with hot water...which means I gotta get up earlier, not happy. Does anyone do anything different for the cold mornings...Hank? Brian?
I was working on a home yesterday that has to be one of the dirtiest homes (Roof cleaning) I've ever cleaned. Not only was it covered in moss and Lichen on every section of roof (north, south facing etc) but the Algae build up was so bad it took about 5 applications with some pretty strong mix on the final 2....
Ok this is Rust on Steel Siding. Seems to be the newest FB Problem. Most of these guy think bleach solves everything or some kind of acid. What's the best way to solve this problem.

Experiment time. After doing more research on Sodium Carbonate,..I think I may try to use this in a house wash. It is what Cascade main ingredient is. So it should cut bug crap and dirt,..and "should" leave the windows acceptable? Recommended mix it seems is around 2 tablespoons per gallon of water....
First time I ever used the product,..(I've used Sodium Percarbonate by the bag many times though),....I don't use it much anymore,..replaced it with Hydroxide for wood cleaning. But,..I had a job cleaning a bridge over water and wanted to use something I felt more comfortable with. Pretty impre...
I use the YRL 51 triggers. They are typically great triggers. I have one I started the season new with,.and it's now sticking randomly,..like twice per job. Doesn't stick on,..just doesn't release,...and then it does. I pulled the trigger on a dry run and it doesn't snap back like it should. Never...
Just want to share my experience with the "new" DieHard batteries from Advance Auto. I bought a DieHard Gold last May and it was junk at the start of this year. I never had an issue with my starting battery until this one. It was stored properly,..At full charge and on a wooden shelf),..just like any batt...
This always pops up. I don't know why these guys like this battle. In the RCIA FB group there has been a bit of fun with a KoolAid drinker who thinks we will buy into his extreme amount of knowledge and BS. First, he is one of the special people in the world who can call Proctor & Gamble and talk to six peop...
So I had a lady call the other day that had a nightmare experience with a “top rated” pressure washing company. She had the house and deck washed. She said the house is still dirty and her deck looks horrible. Apparently they washed the house first and then did the deck blasting all the dirt and wood fib...
I've actually been giving this thought the last few years but have yet to lower myself to that,..lower meaning bring my own standards down from what I've always strived for. Pros- Probably get more work,..because along with the people who want premium,..there could be customers added that fall in...
We received our first fuel bill so it was time to figure it out. We are almost able to pay the entire bill with the added charge. With the increase of almost $250.00 for SH and the crazy shipping rates from FedEx and UPS, the added surcharge has really made a big difference! Not one complaint so far.
Art mentioned in another thread about the price of SH going up. I noticed that at the end of last season. I would be willing to bet I pay as much or more than anyone else,..at least from the prices I've always seen people post over the years. I am at about $364.00 per 53 gallon from Univar,.... and I pick it u...
Guy on FB, says he's been around a while. Washed a fence with Green Ox. Has a problem with a fence. It peroxide based cleaner. Looks to me like Caulking running. Open Pics
I responded in another post about cost saving and though I'd make a separate post also. For me, one of the easiest ways to save money on SH this season will be simply to reduce the amount I use on house washes, I've always used too much,.and never adjusted from a "clean" house I do every year to a house that i...
What do you guys think this year is going to be like. I'm reading on FB that some guys are raising their pricing up tp 20%.. I'm just worrying about getting the phone to ring. With the economy the way it is and everything costing so much, Power washing is going to be way down on the homeowners todo list. I wor...
