I wish I had more qualified employees. I have one great tech that can do most work. The others can do the basics. I'm letting so much work go, good work. Trying not to stretch myself too thin.
have heard a couple of negative comments from facility managers recently regarding window cleaning with water fed pole. Thought I would share it with the group here. One of our largest window cleaners in the area has moved to water fed pole cleaning, and at least two of his commercial customers are v...
I am posting these photos because every Home Owner should follow this Home owners lead. I washed this roof six years ago when it was about eight years old. I cleaned it again today, no Moss...no Lichen...no damage. Yes she could have probably washed it last year but the Home Owner is on top of it..what is...
Okay I am throwing this out there for those who may give a shit, it takes a little time but well worth it. I developed this Idea by accident last year and it worked, todays results were fantastic. Ok so what do you do with a roof covered in Lichen that you sprayed in October and the H/O calls you in March and s...
I have been considering adding a dustless soda blasting, media blasting service. Question? Do any of you have a company doing this in your areas? If so, what do you see as their biggest asset to the area?
up to now Ive been able to get away with a 24 ft ladder. On some jobs fully extended it just made the roof. the time has come to get a larger one and I'm having a hard time deciding on a 28' or a 32' (fiberglass). The 28' is 18% lighter then the 32'. Both are a pain to move around. If I get the 32 I should be covered fo...
My old(very) Summit Hose reels are starting to show their age. I'm going to have them sand blasted first and was going to paint them. A local shop mentioned powder coating. Unfortunately, they don't have any experience with SH and couldn't tell me if it would hold up. Does anyone have experience with p...
A homeowner called yesterday. Coincidentally he was a coworker that I last saw in 1991! Anyhow some kids tossed about a dozen of eggs on his roof. Has anyone attempted to clean eggs before? He googled it and said to use vinegar and warm water. I wonder if the standard roof mix will do the job. Thoughts? --...
March 20th and it's snowing like we are in Alaska. I have 2 jobs lined up tomorrow but I don't think we are going to be able to do them. Here is a pic and we still have 5 more hrs left of snowfall. Awesome weather.

Aloha Guys and Gals, Need some suggestions. I got a asphalt shingle roof to clean that is literally 30' from the freeway. I am almost certain that the black on the roof is a combination of mold and road grime from the freeway. Will my normal mix remove the road grime as well or should I add something to it....
I always give credit where credit is due and Joe Walters Agency came through like a shining star for me. I talked with Darla and she is fantastic. It took all of about 20 minutes over the phone for her to gather some information and within 2 hours, my policy was sitting in my email in-box. I paid in full w...
I went on this lead and did a Test spot with 3%. I didn't do anything to it. They say it's some kind of fiber board out of Canada called Sip. What would clean this stuff?
You guys remember Clyde? He was responsible for copious amounts of Tom Foolery back in the RCIA days, back when it was good before Gary ruined it. Before Pat reminds me of my shortness, let me point out that Clyde was standing uphill. Either way I still look like his mini-me.
Guys try to keep your Signatures reasonable in Size. Between the You tubes, Fonts and Logo's it stretches the forum. Sometime with the You Tubes we can't see the pic's. Try to shrink some of the stuff down if you can. You don't need to remove anything, Just Shrink it down some. Thanks
