I have never cleaned a slate roof. They have began becoming more popular the last few years. I was asked to quote one today. Are they harder to clean vs asphalt.? Should I charge more than Asphalt?. I searche'd it but didn't get these answers

I have a customer that used Raid to spray some hornet nests and it has stained the shingles dark, and he says its very sticky (could be the honey from the comb) Anyone run into this, and what did you use to get it off. Being sticky, I don't think a regular roof mix is going to touch it.

I've been asked to bid a rust removal on a stone chimney that I can't reach with a pump up sprayer. My 40' ladder is not long enough but a combo of the ladder and my delavan pump will do it.
