I think Roof Cleaning season is over here in NH. The temps are really cold now and the phone has stopped ringing. Actually the phone hardly rang this year and was a slow year. Time to get the snow plow out and get ready to push the white stuff
Hey guys,I've put together a short survey about add-on services that will help guide me in putting this next issue of eClean together. Please take two minutes and complete it for me, letting me know what add-on services you offer, or which ones you'd like to learn more about. Everyone who participate...
Not sure what's happening in your areas with the insurance company's. But around here they are inspecting homes all over the Island. One of my homeowners had a bump in his roof and they made him fix it. Another homeowner has moss on his roof and they want it off. Three jobs this week because of insura...
I spoke with other folks in the same business of soft washing and got different signals, so I addressed the question about the best choice as to legal and tax entities with an EA named Thomas A Blair in Callahan, Florida. He explained in some detail to me that sole proprietorships, partnerships, Li...

November 1 and finally got keys to our new office & shop. Took previous tenant an extra month to move out. Original place fell through, as landlords were uncomfortable with us keeping SH on premises And wanted a better "class" of business to occupy their space, lol. I'm sure I've got...
Many of you might have heard about the coward who opened fire on two Pike County based Pennsylvania state troopers while they were changing shifts at approximately 11:00 pm the other night. These two troopers never stood a chance. One died and the other one was listed in critical but stable condition...
I havent read the book yet, they are taking orders for it starting next week. This book may be better than the "Bible"? I'm hoping to be one of the first to get one. http://www.cleanertimes.com/
So I sold this job at just shy of $1400 with the roof, patio and siding wash on the front. Not sure he could really afford it but he wants the place to look great for a pending appraisal. He lives on a busy rural road near a stop sign.....so traffic really backs up here. So I cut him a deal for the ad space for two...
No, I cant afford it this year. I might go look at it tomorrow. I'll make a vid if I do. Just a personal vehicle. I dont look at nothing I cant pay cash for, even trucks. I might go look at this truck tomorrow, they are asking 72 and some change, its a 2011. I'm thinking, make it a goal, print a pic out put it on th...
The weather up here in Michigan is turning colder, I have already had to deal with temps in the low 30's and snow while doing a house wash. We are now booked until November 14th and are having to tell people that there is a good chance of there work not getting done until next spring. Soon we will go from cle...
Seems like a lot of the hood cleanings we do involve flat metal roofs with knee walls. Top of the knee walls usually have metal flashing as a cap. The ladder tends to slide around on this a bunch, and we're already greasy when coming down..its a potential for an accident. Was considering placing a lon...
I ran across this today when I was buying a bottle of Formula 409. The draw tube is integrated into the front of the bottle. That way the pumps is always getting liquid, even when the bottle's low. Wish I'd have thought of this!
Beat the alarm clock up, getting crew sheets ready for the day and mentally preparing myself for todays tasks by enjoying coffee and listening to "Flogging Molly". Today we begin work on the Al Lawson center, North Florida's third largest arena/auditorium (according to Wikipedia). Th...

With the end of season coming soon I would like to plan some road trips on the weekends before the snow comes. I would like to visit members in NJ, PA and NY. Let me know if anyone is open to the idea. Hank
I am washing the roof of this home because his insurance company is forcing him to. They also want the algae removed from his cedar shake.....I figure I would use a weaker roof mix and I told the guy it would probably look like the bottom of photo #1. I said I don't seal it and he was fine with that...he wants...
My occasional soft washing of gas station canopy lead us to a large pressure washing account with 13 stations on quarterly maintenance cleanings. It takes us about an hour to do a four pump pad like this including gum popping, wipe down of the pumps and trash cans.
Hey Guys, I'm gonna need to get a reclaim system. I don't think I will use it a lot so I would prefer a small simple system. It will be for commercial exterior soft wash cleaning. I know they are not designed for SH. However, considering it will be dirty, house wash mix and probably mostly just rinse water....
I saw this picture on another site. That's 11 trucks fully wrapped. This company is based out of Maryland. Can the Maryland market support this? Hank -- Edited by waxman18324 on Friday 3rd of October 2014 05:40:51 AM
I get my letter for Jury duty. I cancel all my appointments for Monday in case I have to go. I check in and they tell me to check back in on Monday after PM. I'm a self employed contractor and they have they right to put my business on hold. So now I have no work scheduled for Monday. Tuesday is on hold and who kn...
