Dougie Do posted this video last month. I am surprised to see so little corrosion after two years of continuous use. I think this is further validation that the booster pump can hold up to the sauce due to the apply chems then rinse cycle. This means the pump is a...
Had a plan to go flatbed this year but some financial setbacks cause me to move that to the back burner. Added a new bedliner New hose reels New pump New plumbing and bulkheads. Remounted and organized everything on one side of the truck leaving space for pressure washer and add'l hose reel on other sid...
Who's got the best deal on Chemical Tanks. I'm looking for a 100 or maybe a 120 and a 60 for the S/H. Shipping is off the charts. More then the cost of the tank.
We just sold our old van. We have worked out of this van over 5 yrs. I enjoyed building this van and rebuilding it every year. We paid $6500 for it 5 yrs ago and it was the best money I ever spent. It had 195,995.0 o I sold it. It never ever broke down on us.
Been trying One Restore for about a week now. It works for rust on Roofing and Vinyl Siding. But I think the F9 is a little stronger and works better with rust on cement. The One Restore just isn't cutting it on cement. Sure wish I could get the F9 local.
I really thought my son Zack and I were efficient and fairly fast with out other truck. We we're still batch mixing and very fast and could crank out the work day to day. I had wanted to build a new truck and get away from batch mixing. Well we got swamped last year and our van was starting to rust and look a lit...
I know i have used Sprinkler pinch claps in the past and sometimes they fit and sometimes they didn't. Fastenal has these (Ear) clamps that fit on different size hoses. I personally don't like to use hose clamps on the supply side of any system. I don't mind hose claps on the delivery side of a system
Just received my new 1/2 versa magic diaphragm pump. My 1st impression is it is double the size of my all flo. Now I'm concerned with the size of my compressor. I just figured there wasn't much difference in size from 3/8 all flo to a 1/2 versa magic. I will be calling them in the morning to find out the requ...
Today's project was the mounting of fuel and diesel tanks on my hot water trailer. My old tanks were metal and had rusty interior walls and we were changing out filters often. They were a smaller capacity design as well. I ordered from Eric and Lisa of Power Wash Store of Central Pennsylvania two 11 gal...
Not one to sit around the house we have pulled the ladder rack off the truck to sand, modify and paint it. Adding some brackets for ladder(s) tie downs and a heavy mesh screen with supports above the cab for a generator. Hank -- Edited by waxman18324 on Thursday 11th of January 2018 11:07:40 AM
I have had this hose reel for over seven years and it finally let go. We have added this to our "Hall of Shame" in the shop. This reel had thousands of gallons roof mix flowing through it over the years. I paid $100 for it. It owes me nothing. Yes we rinsed it after every job. Hank
For the last 4 years I have worked out of a van and to be honest it was a great vehicle and I would definitely build another one but I felt it was time for a change. I was also not looking forward to building my next truck( Sorry Art Oliveri) and I have always built my own equipment. I did go with a Power Wash Sto...
The bed in the pickup is rotting out and will need to be replaced this off season. I can either replace it with same or I can go the flatbed route. I'm looking for advice or experience on using a flatbed instead of a regular p/u bed. Has anyone had a flatbed made up and can recommend a place? This will be for...
I know we have discussed this from a number of angles but I wanted to bring it up again. Like many of you, I have pretty much used every type of material for spray gear. I like the polyester workout/sublimated stuff but using the rain shell spray pants makes me think using a light rain type spray shell just...
I have not been around for a bit, so I thought I better check in and offer a sacrifice... As our season will soon start, I was reviewing equipment we found of value and one thing is definite. The gear from Udder Tech deserves a trial. We have been wearing it all last season and love the fact it is lightweigh...
Somehow I got on an email list and every now and then I get some good information. I thought some here would benefit from this article on 12V pumps. How To Get The Best Performance From Your Diaphragm Pump
I mentioned a few months ago we moved into a new shop and office back in December, but I am just now getting around to post some picks. Been busy working the last three nice weather weeks, and I hired a new VP of Business Development last week, and she has been shadowing me for the last two weeks. We have plen...
We have cleaned metal panel buildings in the past using Soft Washing, but this structure is a large custom decorative elevation that sits in front of the entrance. It has a painted surface much like a car. Algae is not the issue - more dirt and dust if anythingMild soap? car wash detergent? Any though...
Washed a house today. The motor ran Mint. Shut it down at the end of the job and went to start it again and it won't pull. It recoils bad. Took the spark plug out and it pulls. The motor has about a 100 hrs on it, Is this a valve problem?
