It looks like the PTState forum is no longer up? Jeff

Here is a look back at last year with some of our 2021 before and after photos. We have high hopes for 2022!

Happy New Year to all my friends here. Hank

We are still getting out there as weather permits. It isn't easy this time of year in Virginia, but these are before and after photos of a couple recent house washes we were able to get done.

This past season I started cleaning pavers and cement a different way. First I hit the pavers with roof mix and went off and washed the house. Then I came back and hit it with a turbo on a 4' stick. The angle of the stick and turbo made a big difference. The pressure went across the pavers rather then down lik...

Here are the last of this year's fall photos before we head into winter. The leaves really help accentuate that fall feeling.

I've been wearing Levis 502 cargo pants for the past year for work. very comfortable and a cotton/poly blend. but sodium hypochlorite has discolored them. hoping a white poly only pants will stand up to "bleach"

Anyone try this soap? I just bought 5 gallons to give it a shot. Haven't used it in the field yet,..but added to a bucket and water blast to fill the bucket it seemed to make decent soap,..the foam/bubbles on top lasted for a t least an hour. It's a very think soap out of the bucket,..but that doesn't nece...

Jeff figured this out a few years back

Just curious how many jobs a week are you averaging, how many employees you keep, and how do you retain them when there's no work? Personally cleaning is a side business and we keep core employees busy most of the time but roof cleaning is just me and a helper that only keeps everything wet. If I dedicat...

Where are we headed as a society. That maniac that ran through the parade in Wisconsin shouldn't have even been out running loose. The DA said the reforms he was pushing assured someone would die because of them. And they implemented them anyhow. Seriously,..what the **** is wrong with those libera...

ITS ON.....

G'Day again. I am looking for a surfactant to add to 4% dilution SH for roof cleaning. I am aware of Green wash from AC and have heard of Lemonator. Can anyone share any other product worth trying with a variety of fragrance etc. What do you recommend? Where can I get it? Thanks again.

A happy thanksgiving to all my brothers and sisters here on the NSWA. My family and I are heading down to New York City to visit my family in Queens. Art and Pat I will see you on Friday for our mini round "coffee" table. The weather should be fine. Lets do some work. Ill have my truck Hank

Personally I've had some medical issues that caused me to cut back the last 2 years. I know the board's been dead for many reasons but curious how others have made out

Which brand of 12v pump is your favourite. I have been using Everflo for the last couple of years but I find that the pressure switch goes or they develop some other problem and last only about 3/4 months. This considering that we don't do roof cleans every day and may not use for a week at a time. I was think...

Wondering what you/your workers wear on the job. I was gonna get some of the polyester shirts printed but can't find anyone that is selling them (ALLRED is currently not taking orders), so I may just go with a cheap screen-printed T-shirt for now. Anyway, just wondering what everyone does. I see guy...

Hope you all are doing well in these strange times we are living in. Just wanted to post this as it might be interesting to some of you. We have been using shurflo pumps for a while now and they are by far the best imo. However as many of you will have experienced some guys never turn them down when using diffe...

Been looking on the search bar and haven't found anything. How do you all charge for roof cleaning and for house wash? Do you all charge per Sqft and what's the going rate? Thank you for the response

I think we should accept certifications from other forums. Have honorable certifications? Or should we decide certification on a individual case? Should we be doing certification or farming that work out? It's a long way off but we can get some ideas, what do you think?

YIKES! One of my competitors in the Tallahassee market washed a five story building with WAY too strong of a solution and ZERO care for landscaping. The result was tens of thousand of dollars in landscape damage. Ironically I washed this building 2.5 years ago in the middle of the summer and had ZERO da...

Knoxville-based Tennessee Soft Wash was recently called out to clean this medical building in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The building is formerly known as the Oak Ridge Medical Clinic, but is now listed for sale. The owners wanted the brick cleaned and graffiti removed. While high pressure washing...

The public exposure means you've really got to be aware and take public safety to extreme measures. Also, most hotels in the SE are made of synthetic stucco, which in itself can b...
